Theres alot more CRF250 parts out there would a 04+CRF250 rear wheel fit?Thanks, Any input is greatly appreciated.You can use any cr/crf rear wheel/hub from 2000 to 2013 or 2014.You can use the wider 2.15 rim off a 250/450f but on a 125 it will need use up a bit of power.most European 125s use a 2.15 and have for years.... and power difference would be undetectable.The weight difference between a 1.85" and 2.15" is negligible,(the difference pretty much equals a 19" diameter x 3/8" wide strip of aluminium).What it can affect is cornering ability as it 'stretches' the tire a bit wider.not very noticeable on sand or soft soils but moreso on anything 'intermediate' and harder.Because of the slightly wider footprint, the rear tire doesn't want to lean over as easily.My spare wheel for my YZ125 is a 2.15", with exactly same type of tire mounted,(the majority of Euro tracks are perhaps soft/sandy rather than hard packed).It could also simplify inventory & production cost for manufacturers as a 2.15" is common with the rest of their bike lineup.Hey guys and gals, I have an ‘83 cr125 and the stock rear tire size is 130/80-18.
