The top note is musky and powdery vanilla which later morphs into something almost close to Chanel 5. Candy makes me sneeze, so I won't be wearing this and it doesn't smell good on me anyway.

It dries and lingers with a caramel and musk (?) The caramel is delicious and works well with the benzoin.

It is way more subtle and is definitely not an extremely juicy, caramel gourmand blast. The Prada Candy collection takes you on a journey of the extreme. You will not find the perfume too sweet or juvenile. It is the sort of perfume that you would finish and replace. Prada Candy perfume is a perfume by Prada that was launched in 2011. It is a classic scent that has a bit of vintage and powdery vibe which is not overwhelming at all. So i decided to get my daughter for her birthday, she loves it.Entire contents Copyright © 1997-2020. There is something vaguely minty in the blend, a sort of lingering aromatic-vanillic muskiness. The caramel note is not as over-bearing as I thought it would be. It all depends on your personal preference, but warm weather doesn’t really bring out the personality of the perfume. This perfume is great for people who do not like overly sweet perfumes but would want to try one of them for a change. This is heaven for me.

Caramelised toffee with vanilla musk and a dose of balsamic benzoin. You can use this perfume with another to layer if that is what you prefer as it does not clash horribly if you are the sort of person who loves to mix scents. You will come to love Prada Candy perfume because of the classic nature of the scent. Not just a generic ‘default’ fragrance for a lost teenage generation. Beautiful packaging that looks pretty on my make up table. I wasn't impressed with any of the included samples. It’s versatile to use enough to be used du… Since the overall vibe veers towards skin scent, the longevity is good but not so strong. However, it is really lovely and can remind you of Christmas. And there's no distracting vanilla. It's a very warm, dry, sweet scent. It has a powdery vibe that goes well with the rest of the notes and the bottle of the perfume is really lovely and would look gorgeous when added to your collection. Prada Candy ~ perfume review Posted by Robin on 17 August 2011 140 Comments This scent is more feminine and more excessive than past launches. I am a fan of warm smells and this is perfect. DIG IT,Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette,Garnier micellar water all-in-one + hydrantant. I smell a 70's musk undercurrent. bottle of this at $68 but buy it I did. It is not underwhelming either. This stuff is pretty light and non-offensive.

In an explosion of shocking pink and gold, Prada Candy takes us on a walk on the wild side, showing us a new facet of Prada femininity where more is more and excess is everything.

It’s a firm choice buy.The most amazing scent! Usually I steer clear of any fragrance named “Candy,” given my unfortunate experiences with Aquolina Pink Sugar and other high-calorie gourmands. Rich scent that lasts a long time. When you spray it, take a whiff off it and pay close attention, the scent makes more sense and you can understand what the expert was aiming for artistically when she developed this.
Some people do not wear perfume and if they want to, they go for skin scents and this perfume caters to that.It also has a baby powder plus lotion scent that is kind of musky and doesn’t stay too long on fabrics which are also great for people that are sensitive to scents. I cannot smell a bit of candy, vanilla or musk in this. It is a really nice scent that you can wear to work or the office. Even the citrus/floral combo at Candy's opening is restrained; it feels, almost, kind of, elegant.

The lovely SA then whisked off and bought her this one off another stand and it brought an immeadiate smile to the young daughters face. Perhaps I'm scent blind to whatever set of chemicals make up that impression. The musk and the caramel opening reminds me of those Big Foot candies I used to get as a kid- synthetic "strawberry", plastic-like.If you wish to smell like dusty caramel this might be your treat, but I just can't get behind this simpering sweet-toothed creation. I have to push my nose right into my skin, exactly where I sprayed to smell so I rarely wear the samples I got.. Not worth the price of a full bottle to me.Gorgeous perfume, it receives a lot of compliments but I don't smell it nearly as much as I'd like to?Got this perfume among others for Christmas.
