December 21, 1941 - August 30, 2020 Joe David Teague Sr., 78, of Hickory, entered his heavenly home Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020, at Duke University Hospital, in Durham. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Opal Wesson Teague of the home; sons, Barry Teague of Conover and Marty Teague of Conover; sister, Maxine Morrison; 6 granddaughters, 4 great grandsons, and 4 great granddaughters. Dave, along with his brother Vince, provided much of the show's comic relief throughout the first two seasons.
