For the people who have been doing the work to grow and maintain the team, this is the most frustrating problem because it means that not only do they need to 'go back to the drawing board' with regards to bringing in new drivers, but they have also spent time and effort in making you a part of their team only to have to do it all over again. I wasn't about to join an unknown group and get stuck with god knows who for 24 hours and risk pulling X stints in a row because of shady teammates.I'm Keen to join mate! From my understanding there are two ways: The one is to build your own team, The second is to buy a team what has been the most common way. Dozens of team members also build engines, build car bodies, and test parts.While these team members work behind the scenes, the fabricators, engine builders, engine assemblers, and parts specialists shouldn’t be overlooked. I just ran the Daytona 24 with a team formed by a league and it was a blast!The two most important factors in joining a team for me would be finding a group who are:I'm in Phoenix, AZ and would be available any week night except Monday's after 9pm Mountain Time (UTC-07:00).This season I'm focused on the Mazda Cup, Adv Mazda Cup and Production Car Challenge (driving the Solstice).Next season I'll be looking for something new; highly likely to be the Star Mazda and maybe looking to do a 1 race per week attempt in the WSC, running the DP.Awesome man.
